Ouch, a whole week without blogging! Just shows that I was terribly busy this week. Nothing spectacular, just working hard when it is time to work, and then going outside with Lucas during my time with him. Lately, he has not enjoyed being holed up and watching dad type. So let's see, Monday I started teaching. Pretty fun, tomorrow I am having them play a sophisticated game of tag to take data on and test a behavioral ecology principle. Should be fun. I also picked up a heater core I was pleasantly suprised to find it only cost $30. I was even more pleasantly suprised to see that it was only 6 screws to replace. Incredibly easy actually. Did it in an hour while Lucas tried to go to sleep. Was at a wedding yesterday- took a ton of photos I think I'll post them up on my normal photo site so all can see. Take a gander and tell me if I have a chance as wedding photographer if this whole ecology thing doesn't work out. At the wedding, my friend Molly from my ecology program was there. She went to Westmont and is still in touch with the professors there. Perhaps she'll put in a good word for me and I'll get lucky with an interview. Got to get back working on applications. I have been working on papers this week. Submitted another one to Trends in Ecology and Evolution. Meeting on Monday to talk about a short commentary for Behavioral Ecology. Should be a fun paper that we can get out quickly. Not like my dissertation papers. Hopefully I can start those this week as well. Enough for now.
