Madness! So I just got offered a post-doc today up at Washington State! It is a great situation, working with a great guy on interesting stuff. Kind of interesting really not knowing where you will be living in 9 months. I am really blessed to have received these kinds of offers. I mean I have worked my tail off, but I really didn't think it would come to pass so soon. I am so fired up about it. I will be interesting to see how the Westmont process will go. I hopefully will nail my interview and get the offer, but you never know. I think just being invited for an interview means they think I am good enough- it is more of a matter of fit at this point. Landing that job would be so nice for many reasons- one in particular being my family. It kills me to have to continually move my family around the country, but I guess we'll do whatever it takes. Crazy time in my life, having some high pressured interviews that will have lifetime implications. Yeah! This is what it is all about...
