So today marks the day! The day I finally am able to solve a rubik's cube! Took me a while to figure it out, but I have finally mastered the cube. Fullfilled a childhood dream...
So with the money I saved on the mp3 player, I bought a car stereo that has an auxiliary port so I can play it in the car. Shouldn't be too hard to install- we'll see tomorrow when it arrives. The player still won't come for another week... grrr.
Yesterday I went and bought NBA Live 2006. Such a sweet game. It came out today, but EB games gets them a day early. I showed up at the store and had the guy open the morning shipment. There were tons in it, and I was the stores first sale of it! So awesome. I played a game online- so fun to play a real person somewhere around the world. I of course made a character modelled after me. I dominate...
Tomorrow is the lab meeting where we talk about our goals for the quarter, and list our failings at completing the goals from last quarter. It is always fun. Especially the part where we list goals and then we cut each other down on whether that is really a goal. At one point, there was going to be some competitive rating about who did the best- but I don't think that really motivates folks to do stuff. My goals are apparent this year...
